At CDN Solar, we want you to be confident in your purchase. If you have questions about compatibility, sizing, or product selection, we encourage you to contact us before ordering.

Returns

To start a return, you can contact us at info@cdnsolar.ca. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 107-2387 Dominion Rd. West Kelowna, BC V1Z 2Y4, Canada

Returns may be accepted within 30 days of receiving your order and require prior authorization from CDN Solar.

To qualify for a return, products must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled
  • In original packaging
  • In resalable condition
  • Returned with all manuals, accessories, and proof of purchase

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.

Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items

The following items are non-refundable and final sale, unless covered under manufacturer warranty:

  • Special order products
  • Custom-configured systems or kits
  • Cut wire, cable, or custom-length materials
  • Clearance, discounted, or final sale items
  • Installed, used, damaged, or modified products
  • Opened electrical products that cannot be resold

Restocking Fees & Shipping

Approved returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee or 3% payment processing fee.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless otherwise approved by CDN Solar
  • Freight charges for refused or undeliverable shipments may be deducted from refunds

Deposits & Held Equipment

Deposits placed to reserve or hold equipment are non-refundable, but may be applied toward store credit at CDN Solar’s discretion.

Product Compatibility & Installation

Customers are responsible for confirming that products are suitable for their intended application.

CDN Solar does not accept returns, refunds, or warranty claims resulting from:

  • Incorrect product selection
  • Improper installation
  • Incorrect wiring, voltage, or system sizing
  • Failure to follow manufacturer manuals, datasheets, or installation instructions
  • Unauthorized modifications or misuse

Solar and electrical systems can vary significantly depending on the application. We strongly recommend installation by a qualified electrician or certified installer.

Freight Damage & Missing Items

Please inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery.

Any visible shipping damage, shortages, or missing items must be reported to CDN Solar within 48 hours of delivery, including photos of packaging and products where applicable.

Failure to report damage promptly may impact claim eligibility.

Warranty Claims

Many products sold by CDN Solar are covered by manufacturer warranties.

Warranty approval is subject to the manufacturer’s policies and inspection process. Products found to be functioning properly or damaged due to improper installation, misuse, or incorrect application may not qualify for warranty coverage.
