Every SunModo kit is pre-configured with the appropriate number of components based on the number of solar panels in your project. Designed for precision, each component plays a critical role in delivering safe, code-compliant, and efficient solar installations.
- SMR Rails – Engineered for durability and minimal weight, these aluminum rails support 4' spans or greater and withstand snow loads up to 90 psf and winds up to 190 mph.
- Mid Clamps – Bonding Pop-On Universal Mid Clamps accommodate PV module frame heights from 30mm to 48mm. Recognized as the fastest mid-clamp installation option available on the market.
- End Clamps – Adjustable to various panel frame heights, these clamps secure the final panel in each row, ensuring tight, vibration-resistant attachment.
- L-Foot Adaptors – Pop-On L-Foot Adaptors eliminate the need for T-bolts and speed up installation while providing robust structural support to the rails.
- Wire Management Clips – Designed to attach along the SMR rail channel to help route and secure PV wiring neatly—improving aesthetics and serviceability.
- Grounding Lugs – UL 2703 listed grounding lugs ensure proper electrical bonding across your entire solar array, meeting both Canadian and U.S. code requirements.
- Rail Splice – Structural bonding splice with fast and easy single bolt installation. This part is included only when your rail layout requires connecting multiple rail sections.

This configuration provides all the mounting components required for installing 20 or more solar panels using SunModo’s SMR Pitched Roof System. It includes rails, L-feet, mid and end clamps, standoffs, flashings, and hardware for a clean and secure installation.
Important: Each unit corresponds to one solar panel. Simply enter the total number of panels you plan to install as the quantity. For example, if you are installing 24 panels, order 24 units.
The SunModo SMR system supports composition shingle, metal, and tile roofs. Its engineering allows for flush mounting on pitched surfaces. For flat roof applications, contact us for alternate solutions.
