This is a 12V RV solar, battery, and inverter-charger kit designed for larger AC and DC loads. It combines an 880W solar array, two SWE 12V 200Ah Li-ion batteries, a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/100-Tr charge controller, and a Victron MultiPlus 12/3000/120-50 inverter-charger. The kit also includes DC protection, switching, distribution components, mounting kits, and cabling.
This kit can supply compatible RV AC and DC loads, including electronics and household appliances. Appliances such as coffee makers, microwaves, hair dryers, and induction cooktops must be assessed against the inverter and battery-bank operating limits.
Check running power, startup demand, and the combined power of appliances used at the same time before use.
The kit includes 4 × Lumera 220W rigid solar panels, providing a total rated solar array capacity of 880W. Actual solar output depends on sunlight, shading, panel orientation, and operating conditions.
You need enough unobstructed roof space for four Lumera 220W rigid solar panels and their mounting brackets. Confirm the panel dimensions and allow room for installation, roof vents, air conditioners, and other obstructions before ordering.
The kit includes 2 × SWE 12V 200Ah Li-ion batteries. When connected in parallel according to the manufacturer's instructions, they provide a total rated battery-bank capacity of 400Ah at 12V. Refer to the battery documentation for charging settings, discharge limits, operating temperatures, and parallel-connection requirements.
The kit includes 1 × Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/100-Tr charge controller. It regulates charging from the solar array to the battery bank. Follow the manufacturer's specifications for panel configuration and battery charging settings.
The kit includes 1 × Victron MultiPlus 12/3000/120-50 inverter-charger. It converts battery power to AC power and can charge the battery bank when a compatible AC source is connected. Refer to the manufacturer's continuous and startup output ratings when selecting appliances.
Yes. The included Victron MultiPlus inverter-charger supports battery charging from a compatible AC source, such as shore power or a suitable generator. The AC source, wiring, and charging settings must meet the component manufacturers' requirements.
The kit does not include a DC-DC charger or a dedicated alternator-charging system. A separate compatible charging solution is required to charge the house battery bank from the vehicle while driving.
See the System Components section for individual cable lengths, quantities, and terminal configurations.
Confirm that the supplied cable lengths suit your installation layout. Bare cable ends require appropriate termination during installation.
The kit includes an IMO 4-pole DC switch, a Blue Sea 120A resettable breaker, a 400A MEGA fuse and holder, and a Victron 275A battery switch. Install these components according to the system wiring plan and manufacturer documentation.
The kit includes 1 × Victron Lynx Power In M10 as part of the DC power distribution system. Refer to the Victron installation documentation for the correct connections and system configuration.
The Large Loads kit increases the rated solar array capacity from 660W to 880W and the battery-bank capacity from 200Ah to 400Ah at 12V when the two included batteries are connected in parallel. It uses a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/100-Tr controller, a Victron MultiPlus 12/3000/120-50 inverter-charger, a Blue Sea 120A breaker, and a 400A MEGA fuse. It also adds a Victron Lynx Power In M10, a 275A battery switch, and an MC4 RV cable joiner pair.
Compatibility depends on each appliance's continuous power demand, startup requirements, operating time, and the combined loads used at once. These must remain within the inverter, battery-bank, and overall system operating limits. Verify appliance requirements against the component specifications before use.
Installation requires correct solar, battery, DC protection, power distribution, and AC wiring. Follow the component manufacturers' instructions and applicable electrical requirements. Have a qualified RV technician or electrician confirm the system layout, battery-bank configuration, cable terminations, protection, and AC connections. Additional installation materials may be required for your RV.
Actual solar production, battery runtime, and system performance depend on connected loads, operating conditions, and system configuration. Verify appliance requirements, available roof space, panel dimensions, cable lengths, battery settings, and installation requirements before installation. Refer to the System Components section for the supplied items and to the manufacturer documentation for operating limits.
