It provides a full depth of discharge (up to 100%) and excellent efficiency to power a wide range of off-grid, RV, or backup applications. Adjustable charge and discharge settings allow users to optimize performance and extend battery lifespan.

Cycle Life

Designed for long-term reliability, the Switch Energy 24V battery offers over 3,000–5,000 full cycles before reaching 80% capacity, depending on depth of discharge and operating conditions. Even after years of use, it continues to provide strong usable capacity, ensuring dependable performance throughout its lifetime. With proper operation, the battery is engineered for well over 10 years of service.

Smart BMS

The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) provides real-time protection and intelligent control. It monitors voltage, current, temperature, and overall system health to ensure safe and balanced operation. The system includes automatic cutoffs for over-voltage, under-voltage, short circuit, and temperature extremes, maintaining maximum safety and performance across all conditions.

Temperature Performance

Equipped with an internal heating system, this battery can safely charge even in cold environments. The heater activates automatically below 0°C, drawing energy from the charging source to raise cell temperature before charging begins. This feature ensures reliable operation year-round, especially in Canadian winters or unheated installations.

Current Ratings

The BMS supports continuous discharge currents up to 150A, short bursts up to 200A for 60 seconds, and peak loads of 300A for 1 second. The maximum charge current is 125A for up to 60 seconds, with a recommended operating range of 50–75A for optimal longevity. Properly sized wiring and fuses are recommended to match the intended load.
